Part Time - Adjunct Instructors Fall 2025
Job Responsibilities:
The role involves short-term, part-time teaching assignments as adjunct faculty at Penn State Dickinson Law for the Fall 2025 semester. The primary teaching area is Health Law & Policy. Responsibilities include developing and delivering course content, engaging students in experiential learning through simulations, writing, and research, and possibly teaching live sessions at either the Carlisle or University Park campuses. Adjunct instructors are also encouraged to propose and develop courses that focus on applied lawyering skills. In addition to teaching, faculty members are expected to maintain active participation and leadership in professional organizations related to their subject matter.
Education and Experience Information:
Applicants are required to have a . degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Candidates should possess a distinguished record of law practice in the relevant subject matter or have prior experience in teaching the course subjects. Scholarly or professional publications in the relevant field of law are highly desirable. Furthermore, active participation and leadership roles in bar associations or other professional organizations related to the subject matter are preferred. Superior academic credentials are essential for consideration.
