BDO, a top accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Tax Manager in Core Tax Services to join their team. This role involves advising clients on tax implications, evaluating alternative actions to lessen tax burden, and acting as the primary client contact for complex tax issues. The Manager will also be involved in marketing, networking, and business development within their area of expertise. Other responsibilities include researching tax issues, managing tax compliance, and providing tax consulting services to clients.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, with a preference for a Masters in Accountancy or Taxation. They should also have five or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience, as well as prior supervisory experience. A CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a . jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) is required, with other professional degrees or certifications being preferred.
