Job Title: Associate Attorney - Real Estate Closing
Experience:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in real estate law, preferably in residential and new construction transactions.
• Knowledge of state-specific real estate laws, regulations, and local ordinances.
• Experience reviewing and drafting contracts, deeds, leases, and other legal documents.
• Familiarity with title insurance policies and their application in real estate transactions.
• Experience conducting property title examinations and identifying potential title defects.
• Proven track record of successful client communication and collaboration.
• Business development experience in the real estate industry is a plus.

The successful candidate will work closely with the department head and other attorneys to provide excellent legal services and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.

- Conduct table signings for Residential and New Construction transactions, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
- Draft and review contracts, deeds, leases, and other legal documents with accuracy and compliance.
- Review closing statements and loan documents for financial accuracy.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients and address any legal concerns that may arise during transactions.
- Apply knowledge of title insurance policies to protect clients from potential title defects.
- Evaluate property surveys, inspections, and other relevant documentation to inform legal decisions.
- Develop and implement strategies for business development and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate industry.
- Active member of relevant state bar and Notary Public in good standing.
- Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and local ordinances.
- Effective communication skills and ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients.
- Ethical practice and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Problem-solving skills to analyze complex situations and develop creative legal solutions.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in real estate law, preferably in residential and new construction transactions.
