The ideal candidate will have specific experience in auto insurance defense and trial experience is a plus.Duties:Manage and handle insurance defense cases, focusing on auto insurance claims.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.Develop and implement case strategies and prepare for trial.Review and analyze insurance policies and coverage issues related to auto claims.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the cases.Provide legal advice and recommendations to clients regarding defense strategies and case management.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.3-5 years of experience in insurance defense work, with specific experience in auto insurance defense.Trial experience is a plus but not required.Strong understanding of insurance policies and coverage issues.Certifications:Admission to the New York Bar (required).Skills:Proficiency in drafting legal documents and managing case files.Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Effective communication skills for client interaction and court appearances.Ability to develop and implement case strategies.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience handling auto insurance defense cases.
