Job Responsibilities:
- Serve the indigent community with a strong commitment to justice.
- Engage in structured training programs designed to enhance trial skills, facilitated by highly-skilled trial attorneys.
- Participate in classroom training, deliberate-practice exercises, and receive mentorship during trials.
- Critically analyze cases to develop effective defense strategies.
- File meritorious motions and advocate zealously for clients in court.
- Conduct felony jury trials, leveraging prior experience and training to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Education and Experience Information:
- Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in criminal law is required.
- An appreciation and understanding of indigent defense is essential.
Salary Information:
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
