Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years
Qualifications:
- Highly qualified associate with at least 3 years of experience in complex real estate transactions
- Understanding and appreciation for the business of real estate investing
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience with joint ventures, development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, real estate M&A, and financings
- Familiarity with the hospitality and healthcare sectors
- Ability to work with attorneys across the firm, regardless of assigned office.
Responsibilities:
- Represent a diverse group of clients including private equity and investment funds, real estate operating companies, development partners, REITs, financial institutions, and other institutional investors
- Draft and negotiate complex real estate agreements and contracts
- Conduct due diligence and research on real estate transactions
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate matters
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on various projects and cases.
