Assistant General Counsel – Corporate Regulatory
Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant General Counsel – Corporate Regulatory is responsible for providing legal counsel on complex matters related to insurance regulatory filings, financial reporting, treasury support, corporate governance, subsidiary operations, and transactions. The role involves offering guidance and support on insurance regulatory filings and requests, as well as representing the company in interactions with trade organizations and regulators. The ideal candidate will provide actionable legal advice on regulatory, business, and operational matters in a complex and evolving legal and technology environment. This position serves as a partner to business leaders in developing adaptive strategies to support the company's established business and further its growth while advancing the company's mission.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor Degree and a license to practice law in the state where the legal department is located.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney after receiving a law degree.
- Demonstrated experience with insurance and healthcare regulations.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Knowledge or understanding of the health care, health insurance, or claim administration field.
- More than 3 years of experience advising providers, insurers, or other health care entities.
Salary Information:
The compensation for this position ranges from $118, to $220,. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Additional Information:
This position is a hybrid role requiring in-office hours 3 days a week at the respective office location. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
