Job Title: 2L Summer Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The 2L Summer Associate Program at the law firm is a ten-week in-person initiative aimed at providing law students with the necessary tools and hands-on experience to advance their career paths. The program is designed to give participants a comprehensive understanding of life as an Associate at the law firm. Summer Associates are paired with two mentors—an Associate and a Partner—who guide them through various assignments aligned with their interests. Participants have the opportunity to shadow attorneys during actual trials, negotiations, and client consultations. Additionally, Summer Associates engage in in-house training programs, attend weekly practice group presentations, and receive substantive feedback during both mid-summer and end-of-summer evaluations. The program also includes numerous informal social events, including a firmwide Summer Associate event, which facilitate the building of lasting connections with attorneys and fellow Summer Associates.

Education and Experience Information:
Interested candidates must possess a strong academic record and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
