State and Local Tax Financial Services Senior Manager
The candidate will get the opportunity to help clients solve their business issues related to business restructuring, adoption of new tax laws, and communicating local tax developments. Help with assessing the client's state and local tax burden and recommend solutions that support their overall business objectives to ensure that their filling positions are consistent with good business practices and with the states applicable tax laws and rules. Focus on issues related to abandoned and unclaimed property, income and franchise tax, payroll and employment tax, credits and incentives, and indirect tax. Encourage everyone to have a voice and invite opinion from all, including quieter members of the team. Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations. Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels. Move easily between big-picture thinking and managing relevant detail. Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required. Contribute technical knowledge in area of specialism.
