Job Responsibilities:
As a 2026 National Tax Office & Transactional Specialist Intern at the company, you will be engaged in a variety of tasks that are crucial for the financial health and confidence of organizations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Considering tax issues associated with mergers and acquisitions.
- Researching complex tax issues and writing technical memoranda.
- Assisting with international tax structuring and operational issues.
- Preparing tax returns and serving as an integral part of engagement teams for clients.
- Assisting with National Tax Office functions, such as writing internal and external tax alerts on current tax developments and emerging planning techniques.
- Assisting with internal tax education functions.
- Assisting with handling the tax aspects of transactions.
- Engaging in meaningful interactions with staff at all levels as well as with clients.
- Deepening knowledge in tax and tax consulting through exposure to both service lines.

Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for this internship position, candidates must demonstrate:
- A strong interest in tax law, as evidenced by tax courses completed or planned before graduation.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master's degree in accounting or tax.
- Pursuit of an LLM, JD, or CPA license.
- Academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of .
- Detail-oriented leadership with problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

This internship is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour workweek. Local, national, and occasional international travel may be required.

Salary Information:
The compensation for this position is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with applicable state requirements. For candidates located in Colorado and Illinois, the hourly base range is $36 to $36.
