Salary Range: $67,881 - $86,592 annually

The **Members Only**s in Tampa/St. Petersburg is currently seeking an experienced attorney to join their team as a District Court Staff Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong research, writing, and editing skills to work closely with a judge in analyzing cases and motions and drafting orders. The selected candidate will also have the chance to present their ideas orally and in writing to the judges of the court.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as one of the two law clerks assisting a judge in the analysis of cases and motions and the drafting of orders.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare analyses on a variety of legal issues.
- Present ideas orally and in writing to the judges of the court.
- Maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle matters honestly and impartially.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other court personnel.

Salary Information:

- Staff Attorney: $5, monthly.
- Senior Staff Attorney: $6,415 monthly (at least 2 years experience in the practice of law, subsequent to membership in The Florida Bar).
- Career Attorney: $7,216 monthly (at least 5 years experience in the practice of law, subsequent to membership in The Florida Bar).

Qualifications:

- Graduation from an accredited law school with excellent academic standing; law review, journal, or significant law school writing experience preferred.
- Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
- Time management skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Membership in The Florida Bar.
- Class rank, if available, should be indicated in the cover letter.
