Sr Associate, Regulatory Relations
Job Responsibilities:
The Sr. Associate, Regulatory Relations is responsible for supporting the Regulatory Affairs team by managing examinations and reviews for the company's US operating entities. Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing regulatory data and metrics, and remediation action plans.
- Producing accurate and timely reports and PowerPoint presentations on regulatory data.
- Staying updated on legal and regulatory matters affecting the US financial services industry and the potential impact on the company's US operating entities.
- Implementing standards and procedures to support the Regulatory Affairs function and maintaining relevant documentation and supporting work papers.
- Providing direct support to Regulatory Affairs Directors.
- Compiling, analyzing, and reviewing regulatory risk management information.
- Conducting data mining and thematic analysis on regulatory issues to identify trends.
- Developing regulatory responses to findings, including conducting root cause analysis and horizontal reviews to prevent recurrence.
- Monitoring and overseeing regulatory issues to ensure timely and sustainable remediation.
- Partnering with regulatory issue owners to improve data quality and ensure accurate reporting.
- Providing advice and services on legal, compliance, regulatory, corporate, and contractual matters.
- Representing the company to minimize legal, compliance, and regulatory risk.
- Gathering and examining data to assess compliance and monitor ongoing activities.
- Researching and responding to regulatory developments and governance initiatives to protect and enhance the company's reputation.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- JD or other equivalent graduate degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 9+ years of experience in banking regulatory exam management is required.
- Requires a thorough understanding of the company's US operating entities, their lines of business, and corporate functions.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable US laws, regulations, and financial services industry regulators is necessary.
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive projects to conclusion are essential.
- Must have the ability to influence at all levels, including senior executives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across the company are important.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize regulatory issue information is required.
- Must be able to work effectively and provide accurate information under tight timelines.

Salary Information:
The base pay range for this position is:
- Minimum: $101, USD
- Maximum: $185, USD
