Senior Counsel - Global Partnerships
Job Responsibilities
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and advise on various . and global partnership transactions.
- Support the deal desk and work on other commercial contracts with minimal direction and supervision.
- Counsel business teams on legal issues related to partner operations and partnership structures.
- Develop strategies for handling legal issues in a creative, business-centric way.
- Build processes that address risk and enable the business to move with velocity.
- Create scalable processes to allow the business to move quickly.
- Manage a variety of concurrent tasks and understand the technical and business requirements of transactions.
- Help the business manage legal and business risks intelligently.
- Identify and implement processes to increase scalability and efficiency.
- Provide training, guidelines, and general processes to ensure the right resource is doing the right work.
Education and Experience Information
- Must have a . degree from an ABA-accredited law school or meet the requirements for legal education in a foreign country.
- Membership in good standing with at least one US State Bar.
- 6+ years of experience in commercial/transactional areas of structuring partnerships, contract drafting, negotiation, and deal management.
- Ability to think strategically and leverage strong analytical skills.
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build enduring partnerships.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable and adept at balancing risk and opportunity, and thinking creatively to enable smart business decisions.
- High energy, positive mindset, and "can do" attitude.
Salary Information
- Competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach.
- Expected base pay range:
- Bay Area, California: $206,000 - $279,000
- Southern California: $203,000 - $275,000
- Eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans and programs.
