Salary: $145,000 - $255,000 (Depending on Experience)

Procopio, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking an associate attorney for their Family Law Practice Group in downtown San Diego. What You'll Do:

- Draft and respond to RFO motions with confidence
- Prepare DODs and Income and Expense Declarations
- Propound and respond to discovery and handle motions to compel
- Conduct thorough legal research, analyze source documents, and assist in courtroom proceedings
- Represent clients in RFO hearings, evidentiary hearings, and serve as second chair in family law trials
- Hone your skills in drafting mediation and trial briefs, and attend mediations alongside experienced colleagues

What We're Looking For:

- 1-7 years of experience in Family Law, specifically in handling RFO motions, discovery, and declarations
- Some courtroom experience is ideal, particularly in RFO hearings
- Strong legal research and writing skills, especially with declarations and pleadings
- Great interview skills to interact with clients and gather critical case details
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with a keen attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Compensation & Benefits:

- Competitive salary range from $145,000 to $255,000, depending on experience
