Job Title: Specialty Tax Services Intern, Value Added Tax - Summer 2026

Job Responsibilities:
An International VAT Intern is responsible for utilizing their research skills and educational background to assist in consulting with clients across various industries on global indirect tax matters. The key responsibilities include:

- Assisting clients and company client service teams in developing ideas, structures, and transactions focused on indirect tax matters.
- Researching, writing, and reviewing indirect tax advice to provide detailed information on company requirements and foreign jurisdictional requirements regarding indirect tax.
- Conducting research on international indirect tax matters.
- Supporting more experienced staff to provide excellent client service and developing responses to client proposal requests.
- Coordinating with other company specialists and client service teams on client and proposal work.
- Performing other duties as required.

Education and Experience Information:
Education:
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program is required, with a focus in Taxation or Law (LLM) preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience:
- Leadership experience is preferred.

Software:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.

Other Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions as directed.
- Strong analytical and basic legal and tax research skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Seeks advice and guidance from superiors regarding issues related to tasks to be performed.
