Position: Consultant II, International Tax

Salary Range: $59,680 - $109,680 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Summary:
Deloitte is seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Consultant II to join their International Tax Services practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and taxation, with a focus on international operations. This role involves providing tax compliance and consulting services to multinational clients, identifying complex tax issues, and providing recommendations. The position also includes supervising newer tax consultants and working collaboratively with a team of knowledgeable professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to multinational clients on the tax implications of their international operations
- Identify basic and complex tax issues and provide tax analysis and recommendations
- Prepare and review work papers, allocations, and tax returns
- Conduct research and prepare materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations
- Supervise newer tax consultants
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to work within a hybrid work model, with 2-3 days in person per week
- 1+ years of experience in tax planning or preparing and reviewing client work, preferably with a focus on international taxation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Active accreditation, or willingness to obtain, such as CPA, Licensed Attorney, or Enrolled Agent
Preferred:
- Previous experience at a Big 4 firm, public accounting, or consulting experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
