Organization is offering a unique opportunity for law students to become Certified Legal Interns (CLIs) and contribute to providing high-quality representation to our clients.

Requirements for Becoming a Certified Legal Intern
Before applying for our CLI program, you must fulfill your law school's and the Florida Supreme Court's requirements for becoming a Certified Legal Intern. This includes completing the Certified Legal Intern Program - Supreme Court () and consulting with your law school's externship office.

Job Title: Certified Legal Intern (CLI)
Experience: Law School Student

Responsibilities of a CLI at Organization:
- Preparing and investigating cases efficiently and diligently
- Advising and counseling clients
- Establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with clients
- Documenting cases thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Utilizing support staff and experts as needed
- Demonstrating a professional demeanor
- Exercising sound judgment and achieving desired results

Salary Information:
- $26/hour for CLIs working at least 20 hours/week or 80 hours/month
- $26/hour for CLIs working less than 20 hours/week or 80 hours/month in an OPS position
- $28/hour for CLIs hired for a post-graduate APD position
- Paid holidays and sick leave
- Incentive paid leave credit for bar study if hired for post-graduate APD position

Application Deadline:
- March 15 for Summer CLIs
- July 15 for Fall CLIs
- November 1 for Spring CLIs

How to Apply:
To be considered for a CLI position, you must first be approved by the Supreme Court of Florida as a CLI. After fulfilling the certification requirements, complete the online application and email your resume and statement of interest to Guy Robinson.

Statement of Interest:
Interested in participating in our CLI program? Write a statement of interest outlining why you want to do an internship with our office, what motivates you to work with individuals who cannot afford a lawyer, why you want to become a lawyer, and why you want to work in our office after law school.

- Litigation intensive
- CLIs are assigned their own cases under the supervision of a Florida attorney
- Extensive onboarding, training, and supervision
- Opportunity to handle own caseload and speak on the record in court proceedings
