Job Title: Associate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
The associate attorney will join a plaintiff's employment law practice and is expected to be an independent-minded "go-getter" who can contribute to the growth of the practice. This role is not focused on research; instead, the associate will engage in substantive legal work and will soon be responsible for managing the day-to-day progression of their own cases. Key responsibilities include:
- Client contact and communication
- Drafting complaints
- Conducting discovery
- Engaging in law and motion practice
- Defending depositions
- Taking on additional tasks as desired
The position offers mentorship as much as needed, allowing the associate to develop their skills and expertise in employment law.
Education and Experience:
- A Doctor of Law degree is required.
- A valid Bar license is necessary, although candidates awaiting bar results may be considered if they can work while awaiting results.
- Prior employment law experience is a plus but not required.
- Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience, but enterprising and ambitious candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply.
Salary Information:
The position offers a full-time salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
