The ideal candidate will be able to handle a heavy caseload, work independently, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. Duties

  • Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs.

  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, focusing on conflict resolution techniques.

  • Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses.

  • Prepare for and attend trials, mediations, and arbitration hearings.

  • Represent clients in court and advocate on their behalf.

  • Perform legal services, including drafting agreements, resolutions, memos, motions, and status updates.

  • Oversee and analyze discovery and documents provided by parties.

  • Serve as the principal contact between the firm and its clients.

  • Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients as needed.

  • Engage in marketing, networking, and speaking engagements to generate new clients (as delegated by partners).

Requirements

  • Member in good standing with state and local bar associations.

  • Proven trial experience and a strong background in litigation.

  • Ability to manage a heavy caseload independently.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior attorneys.

  • Excellent time management skills and organizational abilities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in state and local bar associations.

Skills

  • Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills.

  • Expertise in trial preparation and litigation.

  • Leadership and mentoring abilities.
