This position involves working on a variety of commercial litigation cases, including construction disputes, contract issues, real estate litigation, and bankruptcy matters. Ideal for a recent law graduate or attorney with up to 2 years of experience, this role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all stages of civil trial litigation.

Duties

  • Assist in managing litigation cases from inception to resolution, including trial support
  • Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, and draft motions and discovery documents
  • Respond to discovery requests and argue motions
  • Participate in client meetings, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Support senior attorneys in trial preparation and at trial proceedings

Requirements

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in civil or commercial litigation
  • Superior writing skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida

Skills

  • Proficient in legal research, drafting, and litigation support
