Job Title: Manager, ELS

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of enterprise-level protocols related to privilege review, data handling, and eDiscovery compliance.
- Assist with the development and execution of a robust, scalable Privilege Review Protocol to be applied across litigation, investigations, and regulatory requests.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, IT, Information Security, and HR, as well as external partners like outside counsel and vendors, to ensure alignment on discovery and privilege objectives.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on privilege protocols and eDiscovery best practices to internal teams and outside counsel.
- Monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments that impact discovery obligations, privilege law, and data privacy.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree is required; JD or equivalent legal training is strongly preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in eDiscovery, legal operations, or litigation support, preferably in a corporate in-house environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across cross-functional teams.

Key Competencies:
- Strong command of grammar, syntax, and legal style conventions.
- Experience with legal citation standards such as Bluebook, OSCOLA, and MLA legal adaptations.
- Familiarity with plain language drafting or editing for different audiences, such as lawyers versus the general public.
- Advanced legal research skills using platforms like Westlaw, LexisNexis, and Bloomberg Law.
- Ability to verify case law, statutes, and secondary sources for accuracy and currency.
- Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Legal and technical fluency, along with cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to fact-checking.
- Deadline-oriented and capable of managing multiple editorial projects simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially when working with attorneys, writers, or external contributors.
