Job Title: Senior Litigation Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Litigation Analyst at the company will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient and accurate review of legal bills and the containment of litigation expenses. Key responsibilities include:

- Legal Bill Review: Analysts will complete assigned legal bill reviews in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to bill review unit standards and company guidelines. This includes performing quality reviews, processing invoices fairly, and communicating adjustment rationales with sufficient detail. Analysts will also coordinate with the Legal Practices Operations team to ensure vendor invoices are processed according to existing agreements and manage bill reviews for the assigned region or line of business.

- Litigation Expense Containment Training: Analysts will create and administer training on litigation cost containment to Claims. This involves leveraging their knowledge and practice experience to provide comprehensive training from an attorney’s perspective, covering topics such as billing issue identification and firm practices, and supporting Claims legal cost containment goals.

- Quality Business Reviews: Analysts will participate in quality reviews with the Regional Managers of Counsel and the Claims field office. They will leverage their practice experience to support the quality review process, participate in deep dive reviews of legal files, and provide feedback on billing practices. Analysts will also support panel firm consolidation efforts and participate in the annual recertification of panel counsel.

- Customer Service: Analysts are expected to provide high levels of customer assistance, guidance, and service, with professional and consistent communication. They will respond to phone calls and emails within a business day, enhance their knowledge of the Claim Legal function, and provide assistance to customers in utilizing the e-Billing platform.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Juris Doctorate from an American Bar Association accredited law school is required.
- Candidates must possess 5+ years of practical experience in relevant areas such as Auto, General Liability, Workers Compensation, Property Damage/Construction Defect, and Professional Liability.
- An active license to practice law in good standing in at least one state is necessary.
- Candidates should have a strong foundation in litigation management and billing, with positions assigned by line of business expertise.
- A minimum of 3 years of legal experience in a particular discipline is required.
- Effective communication skills and proficiencies in Microsoft Office and Excel are needed.

Salary Information:
The annualized base pay range for the Senior Litigation Analyst role is $114,800 - $172,200. Actual base pay may vary based on factors such as performance, proficiency, and demonstration of required competencies. The base pay is part of the company's total compensation package, which may also include bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
