Job Title: Associate General Counsel, Network Legal – Remote

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for certain Southeast Region network markets on the Network Legal Team.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal professionals across the enterprise.
- Serve as counsel to leadership in the development, structuring, and execution of all aspects of the company's relationships with healthcare providers.
- Draft and negotiate contracts with the largest and most complex healthcare provider partners.
- Manage the resolution of disputes, support arbitration proceedings, and draft settlement agreements.
- Acquire deep knowledge of the industry and the specific business practices of the company’s provider network operations.

Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctorate degree.
- Current license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience.
- Experience with regulatory agencies and administrative experience with state insurance regulations.
- Extensive healthcare background with managed care contracting experience.
- Knowledge of ., state contract, corporate health care, and regulatory law.
- Understanding of healthcare benefit coverage and medical policy development.
- Demonstrated understanding of business problems related to assigned legal projects.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and determine appropriate legal courses of action to meet business unit needs.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain rapport with superiors, peers, subordinates, and external company contacts.
- Proven success in collaborating across a matrixed business and legal environment.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to the salary, the company offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
