Duties & Responsibilities:

H2: We are Seeking an Experienced Associate Attorney for Our Construction/Litigation Team in the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant Area
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and briefs
- Conduct legal research
- Communicate with clients and opposing parties to resolve and settle claims
- Manage a diverse case load from start to finish
- Provide timely reporting
- Work closely with other attorneys at depositions and various court appearances
Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in construction defect, toxic torts and/or personal injury
- Licensed to practice in South Carolina
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments and caseload
- Experience with WestLaw, i-Manage and Juris Suite a plus

We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Construction/Litigation team in our Charleston office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on construction defect, toxic torts, and/or personal injury cases.
As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs, as well as conducting legal research and communicating with clients and opposing parties to resolve and settle claims. You will also manage a diverse case load from start to finish, providing timely reporting and working closely with other attorneys at depositions and various court appearances.
To be considered for this position, candidates must be in good standing with the South Carolina Bar and licensed to practice in the state. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills are essential, as well as the ability to prioritize assignments and caseload. Experience with WestLaw, i-Manage, and Juris Suite is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary, as the role requires working independently and in a team environment.
