The Division of Criminal Justice in New Jersey offers undergraduate and law students the opportunity to participate in an unpaid internship during their Fall or Spring semesters or during their Summer break. This internship provides students with hands-on experience in the field of criminal justice and law, enhancing their studies in these areas. - Interns will be assigned to one of the Division's Bureaus or supporting Units and Offices.
- Undergraduate interns will work with Detectives and law interns will work with Deputy Attorneys General.
- An Assistant Attorney General will have overall supervision of the program.
- Interns will have the opportunity to observe and work with professionals in the course of their normal job duties.
- Interns may attend the Summer Intern Brown Bag Lunch Program, where they can learn from experienced professionals through speaking and training events.
