Job Title: Associate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney at the law firm, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical tasks aimed at effectively managing defense cases. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Case Management: Assist in overseeing insurance, personal injury, premises, and transportation litigation files. This involves organizing case files and ensuring all necessary documentation is up to date.
- Litigation: Actively defend case files from inception through trial. This includes handling depositions, drafting motions, and attending court hearings to represent clients effectively.
- Client Interaction: Prepare detailed status and trial strategy reports for clients, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the legal process.
- Discovery: Oversee all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, production requests, and requests to admit. This requires thorough attention to detail and an understanding of legal procedures.
Education and Experience Information:
- Legal Qualifications: Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Missouri bar. While an Illinois license is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.
- Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, demonstrating a proactive approach to seeking guidance when necessary. Solid research and analytical abilities are essential, and candidates with deposition and meaningful litigation experience are preferred.
Salary Information:
