Job Title: Tax Manager, Value Chain Alignment
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of client operations, including building workplans and project plans.
- Conduct high-level benefit modeling for clients.
- Create tailored presentations for various audiences (C-Suite, Tax Department, HR, Systems/IT, etc.) to convey information clearly and succinctly.
- Manage projects, including coordination across multiple service lines such as VAT, Customs, and other company member firms.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another business-related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work, with a focus on international taxation, is required.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, public accounting, or consulting is preferred.
- The role requires the ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work and clients served.
Accreditations Required:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible, must have one of the following: Licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, or foreign equivalents of CPA, Licensed Attorney, or Enrolled Agent.
- Other Tax Technology approved certifications may also be acceptable, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional, Certified SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, among others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience participating in strategic planning initiatives.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong research and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong executive presence.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role is between $103,320 and $235,170. This range considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, which depends on individual and organizational performance.
