The role involves overseeing all aspects of personal injury cases from client intake through trial and offers a dynamic work environment, collaboration with seasoned professionals, and comprehensive support from legal staff. Duties:

  • Oversee and manage personal injury cases from intake through trial and resolution

  • Evaluate new claims and advise potential clients based on information from internal case management systems

  • Draft and revise pleadings, motions, discovery documents, demand packages, and other case-related filings

  • Coordinate with legal support teams, including paralegals, assistants, and case managers, to ensure timely and accurate case progression

  • Collect and review evidence, including insurance policies, medical records, and expert evaluations

  • Communicate regularly with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical professionals

  • Appear on behalf of clients at depositions, mediations, court hearings, and trials

  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests in litigation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information in the firm’s legal database system

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (New Jersey bar admission is a plus)

  • 3-5 years of experience.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in personal injury litigation or related trial practice areas, such as civil litigation or medical malpractice

  • Strong command of tort and personal injury law, including wrongful death and premises liability matters

  • Proficiency in using legal case management software; experience with Needles preferred

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills

  • Ability to handle high caseloads and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment

  • Commitment to high ethical standards and professional integrity

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania law license

  • New Jersey Bar admission is preferred

Skills:

  • Legal research and drafting

  • Negotiation and litigation strategy

  • Team leadership and case oversight

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
