Job Title: Associate – Tax Services – 2026 (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
Tax Services Associates at Company are integral members of various client service teams. These individuals are provided with both formal and on-the-job training to refine and enhance their technical skills. Their responsibilities extend beyond the preparation of tax returns to include active participation in tax planning and consultation processes for clients. As part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, associates assist clients in navigating complex business issues. Specific responsibilities include:
- Researching tax laws, rules, and regulations, and analyzing their application to particular situations. This involves drafting memorandums to defend decisions or outlining solutions to issues.
- Participating in select phases of tax compliance engagements.
- Proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback.
- Supporting select projects while demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative as a team member.
- Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Associate position in Tax Services should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD, or LLM.
- A minimum GPA of .
- Strong leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- The ability to interact with various levels of client and company management through both written and verbal communication.
Prior to commencing full-time employment, it is preferred that students are eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for their relevant practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states.
