Job Title: Associate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Attorney will engage in a variety of legal tasks primarily focused on insurance defense and civil litigation. This role involves appearing in court for trials and attending hearings both in-person and virtually, as necessary. The attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met effectively. The practice areas include Auto, Premises, Professional and General Liability, Medical/Dental Malpractice, and other areas of civil litigation. The Associate Attorney is expected to demonstrate proficiency in legal writing and utilize technical platforms effectively. Collaboration and communication skills are essential as the role requires working closely with a team to achieve optimal results.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school and be licensed with up to 2 years of experience in insurance defense or equivalent legal experience. The candidate must be in good standing and active with the California and/or Nevada State Bar. Being a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills is crucial, along with the ability to thrive in a demanding legal environment.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the Associate Attorney position is between $110,000 to $120,000 annually. In addition to the base salary, the law firm offers a competitive compensation package that includes annual merit bonuses and quarterly performance bonuses.
