Project Overview:
- Senior Counsel position within the Nuclear, Security & Environmental (NS&E) global business unit (GBU).
- Work includes both government projects (DOE, DOD, NASA) and commercial nuclear power projects (domestic and international).

Job Summary:
- Work within the Nuclear, Security & Environmental Global Business Unit (NS&E GBU) with a focus on the Nuclear Power business line.
- Integral part of a dynamic legal team, managing legal risk across the NS&E GBU.
- Must have strong relationships with business leaders and legal professionals.
- Part-time telework position, with three days of in-person attendance required at the assigned office or project.
- Weekly in-person schedules determined by individual and supervisor.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support for commercial nuclear prospects and projects in the US and worldwide.
- Reports to Principal Counsel of the NS&E GBU.
- Proactively advise on a variety of legal matters and jurisdictions.
- Assist in development and negotiation of contracts for major projects.
- Complex and difficult work that requires original and creative thinking.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- . or JD degree with at least 15 years of experience in a major law firm or major engineering, procurement, and construction company.
- Must hold a current license to practice law in the United States.
- In-depth understanding and experience in engineering and construction sectors.
- Exposure to and experience with structuring and negotiating major public infrastructure projects.
- Strong professional skills and experience to advise on a variety of legal issues.
- Proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Approachable, down to earth, and resilient personality with strong negotiation, drafting, communication, and influencing skills.
- International outlook and ability to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Willingness to travel regularly and extensively.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in nuclear-related and/or major infrastructure engineering, procurement, and construction transactions.
- Intellectual flexibility and technical acumen.
- Strong lateral and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to identify new sector or technical knowledge and be aware of current and evolving customer needs.
- High degree of rigor, accuracy, detail, and complexity.
Project Management:
- Ability to manage complex transactions with minimal supervision and tight deadlines.

- Able to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
