A prominent and expanding law firm is seeking an experienced Partner to lead its Labor & Employment Law section in the Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned attorney with a strong background in employment litigation, counseling, and compliance who is ready to take on a leadership role. Location

  • Dallas, Texas

Duties

  • Lead and grow the Labor & Employment practice within the Dallas office

  • Advise corporate clients on employment law compliance, workplace policies, and risk mitigation

  • Represent clients in federal and state court litigation, arbitrations, and administrative hearings

  • Handle matters related to discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and employee benefits

  • Draft and negotiate employment contracts, separation agreements, and non-compete clauses

  • Oversee and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff within the section

  • Manage client relationships and contribute to business development efforts

  • Collaborate with attorneys across other practice groups on cross-disciplinary matters

Requirements

  • Proven track record in employment law and litigation

  • Ability to generate and manage a portable book of business (preferred but not required)

  • Experience managing a legal team or section strongly preferred

  • Excellent leadership, client service, and case management skills

  • Commitment to diversity, integrity, and professionalism in legal practice

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Texas (required)

  • Board Certification in Labor & Employment Law (preferred, not mandatory)

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations

  • Exceptional litigation, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and manage complex cases

  • Business development acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
