Position Summary:
- This is a 100% onsite position.
- The Risk Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Risk Management.
- The main purpose of this role is to identify and manage risk across the organization.
- The Risk Manager will minimize financial loss and support the development of policies and procedures related to risk management.
- This position will also provide advice and resources to CHLA staff.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
- At least 4 years of experience in healthcare risk management, quality, regulatory, patient safety, process improvement, or healthcare-related legal work.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with executives and managerial staff.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and graphical presentations.
- Complex problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in risk management and/or claims handling.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and statutes.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree and licensed/certified practitioner or advanced degree preferred.
- CPHRM certification required within 1 year of hire.
Salary Information:
- Pay scale ranges from $89,440 to $160,992.
- Final determination of starting pay will be based on education, experience, and qualifications.
- Additional pay may be offered for candidates who exceed the specified requirements.
