Attorney The candidate' will manage litigation and arbitration matters, and collaborate with internal clients and outside counsel. Counsel will also be required to provide legal guidance and advice with regard to general business matters. Will exercise independent judgment and decision making on litigation issues and related tasks, and work under modest to minimal supervision. Applies in-depth and broad knowledge and frequently takes full ownership of legal matters. Organizes and manages individual litigation matters. This position requires a customer-focused mind-set and a keen understanding of the perspectives of key stakeholders, including business leaders, customers and clients; and regulators and enforcement agencies. Should have Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school; Must have Active and licensed membership in a state bar association; Should have 2 years of experience in litigation; Must have Strong project management skills involving discovery and litigation matters. Ability to organize and successfully execute a number of case matters simultaneously; Strong skills in communicating complex legal issues to various stakeholders; Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare litigation experience; Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures related to the managed care industry; Bar membership in Virginia, Maryland, and/or District of Columbia.
