Job Title: Partnership Tax SALT Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead large projects and innovate processes to maintain operational excellence.
- Perform state and local tax return reviews and finalize compliance tasks effectively.
- Interact with clients at a senior level to drive project success and ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments within the company to prepare, review, and analyze reports necessary for the preparation of tax returns.
- Communicate effectively to secure overall success and validate outcomes with clients.
- Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels to foster team growth.
- Make difficult decisions and take action to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness.
- Model and reinforce professional and technical standards, the company's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- A Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- CPA, EA, or Member of the Bar is preferred.
- Experience in performing state and local tax return reviews, monitoring tax compliance requirements, conducting tax research, and solving complex issues is essential.
- Proficiency in working with financial statements and journal entries, understanding financial systems and business processes, and coordinating with other departments for tax preparation is necessary.
- Ability to innovate through new and existing technologies is crucial.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the position of Partnership Tax SALT Senior Manager is between $89,000 and $315,000. Additionally, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for the position. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
