Job Title: Manager or Senior Manager, Operating Partnerships & Corporations
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and/or operating partnerships, catering to a diverse range of clients from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses.
- Participate in accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provisions.
- Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experiences, advising clients and delivering high-quality tax services and advice.
- Lead a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope, acting as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects.
- Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the company.
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager:
- Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.
- Collaborate with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and expand the company's tax practice.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must be a licensed CPA, EA, or hold a JD/LLM, or possess another credential from the company's approved listing. Individuals without one of the approved designations/credentials at the start of employment have one year from their hire date to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740.
- Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and operating partnerships.
- Prior experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
Additional Qualifications for Senior Manager:
- Minimum of eight years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
- Experience mentoring and counseling staff/senior-level team members.
