Sr. Contract Manager - REMOTE
Job Responsibilities:
The Sr. Contract Manager is tasked with several critical responsibilities that span the full contract life cycle within the pharmacy benefit management sector. Key duties include:
- Developing responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs) in support of the company's rebate aggregation business, working closely with sales and account management teams.
- Coordinating the preparation and review of various agreements such as pharmacy benefit management service agreements, business associate agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and medical agreements.
- Collaborating directly with internal and external stakeholders to generate, negotiate, and finalize agreements.
- Improving processes related to the completion of contracts and the legal aspects of proposal responses.
- Partnering with internal teams to maintain contract templates.
- Tracking contract milestones and conducting reviews.
- Assisting in maintaining and administering the contract management system.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. A Paralegal Certificate is also acceptable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with managed care companies or other healthcare entities is required.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications:
- The ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities successfully.
- The ability to establish rapport and build relationships across all organizational levels.
- Expertise in communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), pharmacies, or health benefit insurers.
- Experience in managing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- A Juris Doctor degree is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- The candidate must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- The ability to move or traverse is required.
- Constant operation of a computer and other office productivity equipment is necessary.
- The candidate must be able to hear and constantly communicate information and ideas, ensuring the exchange of accurate information.
Salary Information:
The potential pay for this position ranges from $74, to $118,, depending on experience and skills.
