Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Represent mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes, and real estate litigation.
- Make appearances in state and federal court for both routine and contested hearings.
- Review incoming litigation and develop case strategy.
- Draft necessary legal documents and conduct settlement negotiations.
- Manage a caseload of contested matters on behalf of residential and commercial mortgage lenders and investors.
- Appear in court to argue motions essential for the successful completion of foreclosure, eviction, title curative/title disputes, HOA/COA issues, and other related matters.
- Regularly communicate with clients for updates and case resolution.
- Analyze loan files, title reports, and other client documents.
- Draft motions, prepare written discovery, and responses.
- Attend trials and conduct legal research and writing.

Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree.
- Licensed in Georgia and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant litigation experience, with 5 years preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of motion practice experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of courtroom experience.
- Knowledge of Georgia Mortgage Foreclosure Law.
- Knowledge of Georgia Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules.
- Previous experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong writing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
- Capability to work independently or in a group/team setting.
- High level of professionalism.
- Ability to interact and communicate well with clients, staff, peers, and management at all levels.

Physical Demands:
- Frequent requirement to sit, talk, or hear.
- Occasional requirement to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
- Normal office working conditions with a quiet to moderate noise level.

Salary Information:
- Comprehensive compensation package with a salary ranging from $90,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
