Duane Morris LLP, a leading law firm, is seeking a Junior Patent Litigation Associate with 2-3 years of experience in defending patent litigation cases. This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to join our growing Intellectual Property practice group. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, the ability to work independently, and a positive presence with strong advocacy abilities. A technical degree in EE/CS is preferred but not required. The candidate can work from our offices in Austin, Atlanta, ., Philadelphia, San Francisco or Silicon Valley, as long as they are admitted to the bar in that jurisdiction.
Responsibilities:
- Defend patent litigation cases for our clients
- Conduct thorough research and analysis
- Write legal briefs and memoranda
- Work independently on assigned cases
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Attend court hearings and trials as necessary
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in sophisticated, complex litigation
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Positive presence with strong advocacy abilities
- Stellar academics and research skills
- Entrepreneurial drive and initiative
- Technical degree in EE/CS preferred but not required
- Admitted to the bar in jurisdiction of practice
Salary Information:
- Target annual salary range: $235,000-$260,000
- Actual pay may vary depending on experience, skill-set, business needs, and market factors
