Job Title: 2L Summer Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the 2L Summer Associate is to participate in the 2026 Summer Associate Program at the law firm. This program is designed to provide law students with practical legal experience and exposure to various practice areas within the firm. Summer Associates are expected to engage in meaningful legal work, which may include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and participating in client meetings. They may also have opportunities to engage in on-campus activities such as student organizations, law review, moot court, journals, and/or clinical legal work. The program aims to develop the participants' writing and analytical skills and offer them insights into the workings of a law firm.
Education and Experience Information:
Eligible applicants for the 2L Summer Associate position must be current law students entering their second year of law school and expected to graduate in Spring 2027. Candidates should demonstrate a record of outstanding academic achievement, strong writing and analytical skills, and relevant work experience. Participation in on-campus activities such as student organizations, law review, moot court, journals, and/or clinical legal work is highly desirable.
Salary Information:
Compensation for the 2L Summer Associate position is based on an annualized salary of $225,000 per year for the 10-week program. This reflects the firm's commitment to attracting talented law students by offering competitive remuneration for their contributions during the summer program.
