Job Title: Florida Attorney General's Internship Program - Law Student Intern

Job Responsibilities:
- Gain practical experience in the legal field by working with the Office of the Attorney General.
- Perform meaningful work toward the completion of a law degree.
- Engage in various legal tasks depending on the specific division or bureau assigned, such as consumer protection, antitrust, civil litigation, criminal appeals, and more.
- Participate in civil investigations and litigation, providing legal assistance and representation in state and federal courts.
- Assist with the enforcement of state and federal laws under the guidance of the Attorney General.
- Work on cases involving consumer protection, antitrust, civil litigation, ethics, child support enforcement, and other legal areas.
- Collaborate with state and federal agencies for joint enforcement efforts.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for court proceedings.
- Support the legal team in high-impact, complex cases and time-sensitive litigation matters.

Education and Experience Information:
- The internship program is open to students enrolled in an accredited ABA law school.
- Applicants must be law students seeking academic credit or participating in law school-sponsored programs such as Pro Bono Programs, Law School Sponsored Clinics, or Law School Paid Stipend Programs.
- Students must provide documentation of enrollment and eligibility for academic credit or program participation.
- Second and third-year law students are expected to provide a writing sample if selected for an interview.
- Interns must be able to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week or as prescribed by their college or school.

Salary Information:
- The internship is unpaid. However, it offers academic credit and valuable legal experience.
- Interns are not compensated or eligible for benefits, except for Worker's Compensation benefits for any work performed on a voluntary unpaid basis.
