Duties:
Negotiate and draft documentation for property acquisitions and dispositions
Represent clients in real estate financing transactions, including borrower and lender-side matters
Structure and advise on joint venture arrangements
Conduct due diligence and title/survey reviews
Communicate with clients regarding strategy, timelines, and risk assessment
Collaborate with internal legal teams, partners, and stakeholders on multifaceted real estate deals
Keep current with developments in real estate law and regulatory matters impacting clients
Requirements:
3-6 years of experience in real estate transactions at a law firm or in-house legal department
Demonstrated ability to independently manage aspects of complex real estate matters
Licensed and in good standing in at least one . jurisdiction; eligibility for admission in New York is required
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the New York Bar or ability to obtain admission through reciprocity
