Job Title:
Tax Senior, Specialized Tax Services Partnerships
Job Responsibilities:
Tax Specialization:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of partnership taxation technical and practical issues.
- Participate in organizing and conducting external CPE training sessions, involving specialists, at least once per year.
- Train and mentor interns and associates on tax-related matters and software tools.
Research:
- Identify when research is needed and work with leadership to frame issues for research.
- Report research analyses concisely.
- Identify complex issues for further research and provide methodologies for efficient research processes.
- Train interns and associates on research skills and involve specialists as needed.
Tax Consulting:
- Assist in developing, recommending, and implementing methods to maximize client benefits, particularly by reducing current and future taxes.
- Collaborate with leadership to recommend solutions using tax and business/industry knowledge.
- Manage client expectations and assist with implementing applicable strategies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Participate in scheduling and managing the workload of interns and associates.
- Supervise day-to-day workload of interns on various projects.
- Review work prepared by interns and associates and provide review comments.
Other duties as required.
Education and Experience Information:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.
- Master’s in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.
Experience:
- Two or more years of relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting, or consulting/professional services experience required.
- Specialized partnership experience preferred.
- Private equity experience, at both fund and portfolio company levels, preferred.
License/Certifications:
- CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a . jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred.
- Other relevant professional degrees or certifications preferred.
Software:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Experience with tax research databases and tax compliance process software preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of delegating work effectively.
- Strong analytical, research, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and develop client relationships.
