It is important to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to a professional code of conduct in this role. Applicants must be 18 years of age, US citizens, or meet the requirements of the Administrative Office of the US Courts. Fingerprinting and a background check will be required prior to starting the internship, but a prior record is not necessarily disqualifying.
The Federal Public Defender is seeking students who can commit to 12-15 hours per week for one semester/quarter.
