Internship Applications for the New Jersey Division of Law's Spring Session are now open. Interested law students are encouraged to apply according to the schedule below:
- Spring Session: January through April
- Application Deadline: November 15
Education and Higher Education Trenton:
- Law students have the opportunity to serve an internship during their Fall or Spring Semesters or during their Summer breaks with the New Jersey Division of Law.
- Interns will be supervised by a Deputy Attorney General and overseen by an Assistant Attorney General.
- Responsibilities include research, writing, and observing a wide range of lawyering activity.
- Interns will also attend court proceedings, meetings with clients, depositions, and other special events.
- Eligibility to participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year.
- Assignments to specific sections are based on student interest.

The Division conducts interviews and extends offers for positions on a rolling basis.

The New Jersey Division of Law offers law students the opportunity to gain valuable experience through their Spring Session Internship program. This unpaid internship allows students to work alongside experienced attorneys and observe a wide range of lawyering activities. The program is open to law students during their Fall or Spring Semesters or during their Summer breaks.
