Job Title: Corporate Associate – Public Companies and Capital Markets
Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate Associate will be responsible for providing legal services to public companies, focusing on public company reporting compliance and governance. This includes managing day-to-day issues that arise for public companies, such as SEC compliance, disclosure matters, governance, and Nasdaq/NYSE compliance. The role involves representing either issuers or investment banks in capital markets transactions, including IPOs, equity/debt offerings, private investment in public entities (PIPEs), and at-the-market offerings. Experience with technology and life sciences companies is considered a plus for candidates.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience in public company and capital market matters. They should be well-versed in public company reporting compliance, governance, and the legalities surrounding SEC compliance and disclosure. Experience in representing issuers or investment banks in various capital markets transactions is required. A background in dealing with technology and/or life sciences companies will be advantageous.
Salary Information:
The salary for this position ranges from $310,000 to $390,000, depending on the year of classification. In addition to the base salary, discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded. The benefits package includes a variety of offerings, such as:
