Job Title: 2L Summer Associate - Projects
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the global team on innovative, complex, and challenging projects, particularly in the areas of renewable energy, project development, and project finance.
- Engage in comprehensive legal research and analysis to support project initiatives.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements related to project development and finance.
- Work both independently and within a team environment to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and potentially clients to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives and deliverables.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must be second-year JD students.
- A background or identifiable interest in renewable energy, project development, or project finance is preferred.
- Strong academic credentials are required.
- Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment is necessary.
Salary Information:
- Compensation is commensurate with skill and experience.
- The summer associate salary is calculated using the annualized salary for a first-year associate in the specific market.
- The full-time base annual salary for this position in the Washington . market is expected to be $225,000.
- For summer associates in 2026, this translates to $4,327 per week.
- This salary range represents the law firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting for a position in Washington .
