Job Title: Partnership Tax SALT Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead large projects and innovate processes to maintain operational excellence.
- Interact with clients at a senior level to drive project success.
- Perform state and local tax return reviews and finalize compliance tasks effectively.
- Coordinate with other departments within the company to prepare, review, and analyze reports necessary for the preparation of the company's tax returns.
- Communicate effectively to secure overall success and ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Solve complex problems and make difficult decisions to maintain team effectiveness.
- Craft and convey clear, impactful, and engaging messages that tell a holistic story.
- Validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on client feedback.
- Apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems and/or opportunities.
- Direct the team through complexity, demonstrating composure through ambiguous, challenging, and uncertain situations.
- Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels.
- Model and reinforce professional and technical standards, the company's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's Degree.
- 6 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA, EA, or Member of the Bar credentials are preferred.
- Experience in performing state and local tax return reviews, monitoring tax compliance requirements, and conducting tax research.
- Skills in working with financial statements and journal entries, understanding financial systems and business processes, and coordinating with other departments for tax preparation.
- Ability to innovate through new and existing technologies.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $315,000.
- Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
- Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
- The listed salary range is specific to roles based in Maryland.
