Job Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Assist clients with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate agreements and documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and provide tailored legal solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in corporate law and industry trends to effectively advise clients.
Education and Experience Information
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the State Bar of California.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate law at a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Proven track record of managing client matters independently and delivering high-quality legal work.
- Deep understanding of corporate law, M&A, securities, and business transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
- A commitment to integrity, teamwork, and professional growth.
Salary Information
Compensation packages for senior attorneys are negotiated depending on their expected production. The pay scale is defined to include the range of base pay, estimated to be $225,000 – $275,000 per year, and may include incentive compensation ranging from 10% - 20% of fees paid.
