The Manager, Talent Solutions (Support Staffing) is responsible for a wide range of duties aimed at recruiting and developing legal non-attorney professionals. Additional responsibilities include supporting New Business and Client Solutions teams to deliver high-quality service, serving as an expert advisor on the legal talent community and job market, and matching candidates to client requirements. The manager will present candidates to various teams and prepare them for client interviews. Administrative tasks include ensuring employment or client-required paperwork is completed and maintaining active relationships with candidates on and off assignment. All activities must be documented in the Candidate ATS (Bullhorn).
The manager is expected to develop working candidates professionally through regular communication, adhere to the company handbook, and work independently to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment. They must demonstrate sound business judgment, manage multiple priorities, foster teamwork, and resolve issues effectively. An interest in learning various tools, including proprietary systems, is also important.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree, with a Juris Doctor (.) being highly preferred. Candidates should have 3-5 years of legal experience, whether with a large firm, in-house, or as a consultant in the legal services industry. Prior legal recruiting experience is highly preferred. Skills necessary for the role include talent assessment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous recruiting experience and familiarity with Bullhorn or similar ATS are advantageous.
